Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been relocated to a secure site within the country amid increased security measures, as reported by two regional officials informed by Tehran. This move comes in response to escalating tensions in the region after Israel claimed to have killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a strike on September 27.

Israel has allegedly warned of more targets in Tehran if Iran and Hezbollah retaliate for the purported killing of Nasrallah. According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, officials expressed their preparedness to take further action if hostilities escalate.
