Iranian state media has confirmed that Ali Shamkhani, senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is alive, dismissing widespread reports claiming he was killed during the initial wave of Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
Following the strikes, rumors of Shamkhani’s death circulated across regional and international media, with several outlets prematurely reporting his “martyrdom.” However, Iranian authorities have now clarified that while Shamkhani was seriously injured in the attacks, he has since stabilized and recovered.

In a statement released to the public, Shamkhani said, “I am alive and ready to sacrifice my life for Iran,” reinforcing his commitment to the nation despite the close call. His survival was confirmed as part of broader efforts by Iranian media to counter misinformation amid rising tensions.
According to Iranian sources, Israeli strikes have so far claimed over 250 lives, including senior military personnel, commanders, and nuclear scientists. The ongoing escalation has been accompanied by a wave of disinformation and propaganda from both sides.
