The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, stated that precision strikes were carried out using various military assets, including killer drones, rockets, loitering munitions, and stand-off weapons. The operation, codenamed ‘Marg Bar Sarmachar,’ aimed at specific hideouts used by terrorist organizations such as the Balochistan Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front.

Iran’s initial airstrikes were prompted by the escalation of tensions, particularly in response to alleged cross-border terrorist activities by groups based in Pakistan.
