Internet Services Suspended, Causing Widespread Disruptions

3G and 4G Services Suspended in Quetta

Mobile internet services were suspended in Balochistan’s capital, Quetta, on Thursday due to security concerns.

As a result, residents faced difficulties due to the internet outage in the city.

X Faces Global Outage, Including Pakistan

A few days ago, users worldwide reported issues accessing social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Downdetector.com confirmed widespread disruptions.

Meanwhile, platform owner Elon Musk stated that a “massive cyberattack” was responsible for the outage.

Despite X being officially banned in Pakistan, Downdetector recorded 74 outage reports from Pakistani users at 3:08 pm, which rose to 136 by 11:06 pm before declining to 45 an hour later. Most complaints came from Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
