International Arbitration Court’s Shocking Verdict Revealed in Pakistan-India Dispute.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague has accepted Pakistan’s position that it has jurisdiction to determine a dispute between India and Pakistan concerning changes in the designs of the Kishanganga and Ratle Hydro Electric plants by India.

The international court has rejected India’s objection to the PCA assuming jurisdiction over the matter. The court will now proceed to hear Pakistan’s claim on the merit, which asserts that the designs of the two projects violate the Indus Water Treaty of 1961.

Pakistan was represented by a team of international experts, with support from the Attorney General for Pakistan’s team, including Advocate Zohair Waheed and Advocate Ms. Leena Nishter.

Barrister Ahmed Irfan Aslam acted as Pakistan’s agent in the proceedings before the PCA.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
