Fly Baghdad, an International Airline based in Iraq, will start direct flights to Pakistan in March. The new routes will connect Baghdad with Karachi and Lahore. This move will improve air links between Iraq and Pakistan.
The International Airline will launch flights to Karachi from March 1. Flight IF331 will operate twice a week. It will fly on Sundays and Wednesdays. The plane will depart Baghdad at 2:00 AM. It will land in Karachi at 7:35 AM. The airline will use a Boeing 737-900ER aircraft for this route.
The return flight, IF332, will leave Karachi at 8:35 AM. It will arrive in Baghdad at 10:55 AM. These return flights will also operate on Sundays and Wednesdays. The Karachi service will run two times each week.
In addition, the International Airline will begin flights to Lahore from March 6. Flight IF343 will operate on Mondays and Fridays. It will depart Baghdad at 6:30 AM. The aircraft will land in Lahore at 1:15 PM. This route will also use a Boeing 737-900ER.
The return flight, IF344, will leave Lahore at 2:15 PM. It will arrive back in Baghdad at 5:40 PM. These flights will also operate twice weekly.
The new services will offer more travel options for passengers. They will also support trade and tourism between the two countries. Direct flights will reduce travel time for many passengers.
Karachi and Lahore are among Pakistan’s largest cities. Both cities have major international airports. These new routes are expected to meet growing travel demand.
