The Ministry of Interior has decided to implement stringent security measures to protect government and key installations in the federal capital due to potential security concerns, according to official sources. A heavy deployment of security personnel has been ordered for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with a focus on sensitive locations.
The ministry has also initiated geofencing of Afghan refugee camps in Islamabad and other cities to improve surveillance and monitor activities. Authorities are considering severe actions against individuals involved in disruptive protests, including canceling academic credentials, blocking passports, identity cards, and SIM cards.
