The corporation did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.

According to Alex Heath, a Verge reporter, in a newsletter, Meta has been contacting talent agencies and celebrities to assess their interest in trying an early version of the app, which will be connected with Instagram.

“The decentralised app is built on the back of Instagram but will be compatible with some other apps like Mastodon,” according to Lia Haberman’s email, who teaches social and influencer marketing at UCLA in California.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
