Infinix Unveils Budget-Friendly Note 50 and Note 50 Pro with High-End Features

Infinix has unveiled its latest budget smartphone lineup with the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro, which offer premium features at affordable prices. Both models come with high refresh rate AMOLED displays, improved camera systems, and long-lasting batteries, though the Pro version features enhancements such as a superior selfie camera and faster charging speeds.

Design and Display

Both the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro boast a sleek metallic body and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate—an upgrade over the previous Note 40 series. The design remains elegant and modern, with both models earning an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The Note 50 is available in Green, Red, Gray, and Gold, while the Note 50 Pro comes in more premium finishes including Purple, Gold, Gray, and Silver.

Internals and Software

Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration (2×2.2GHz Cortex-A76 and 6×2.0GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 GPU. They run on Android 15 with Infinix’s XOS 15, offering a range of modern features such as NFC, FM radio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Although the SoC remains the same for both models, Indonesia’s limited rollout of 5G makes 4G connectivity a more practical choice.

Camera System

The camera setup on both devices features a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The Note 50 is equipped with a secondary 2MP depth sensor, while the Note 50 Pro upgrades this with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a flicker sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Note 50 includes a 13MP front camera, whereas the Pro model steps it up to 32MP.

Battery and Charging

Both models feature a robust 5,200mAh battery. However, the Note 50 supports 45W wired charging, while the Note 50 Pro offers a faster 90W wired charging capability, which significantly reduces charging times. Both devices also support 10W reverse wireless charging.

Pricing and Availability

The Infinix Note 50 is priced at $165 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, available in Green, Red, Gray, and Gold. The Note 50 Pro, with its enhanced features, is available for $182 in the same memory configuration and comes in Purple, Gold, Gray, and Silver.

In summary, the Note 50 Series from Infinix delivers a blend of premium features and attractive pricing, making them appealing options for budget-conscious buyers seeking a high-performance smartphone experience.
