Indian singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda has tragically passed away at the age of 35 after sustaining severe injuries in a motorcycle accident.
According to Indian media reports, the incident took place on September 27 while Rajvir was riding his bike to Shimla. The accident occurred in the Baddi area when he lost control after cattle suddenly appeared on the road, causing him to crash. He suffered major head and spinal injuries and was rendered unconscious at the scene.
He was immediately taken to a hospital in Mohali, where doctors placed him on a ventilator. Despite receiving intensive care for 11 days, his condition remained critical, and he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Rajvir Jawanda was a well-known figure in the Punjabi entertainment industry, celebrated for his melodious voice and charismatic screen presence. Alongside a successful singing career, he made notable appearances in Punjabi cinema, including films such as Subedar Joginder Singh (2018), Jind Jaan, and Mandu Tahsildarni.
His sudden passing has left fans, colleagues, and the Punjabi music community heartbroken, with many paying tribute to his talent and humble nature. Rajvir’s death marks a huge loss to both the music and film industries of Punjab.
