Indian PM Modi Inaugurates and Addresses GPAI Summit 2023 held in Delhi

Inaugurating the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023 in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the transformative potential of AI in India’s technology landscape while urging caution in its deployment.

Against the backdrop of ongoing global debates on AI’s ethical use, PM Modi highlighted India’s utilization of AI to revolutionize healthcare and contribute to sustainable development.

Expressing India’s commitment to responsible and ethical AI practices, PM Modi outlined the nation’s development mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and the alignment of government policies with the ethos of ‘AI For All.’

GPAI Summit 2023

The GPAI Summit 2023 will highlight numerous engaging sessions, among them the AI Expo, where 150 startups will demonstrate their capabilities. Prime Minister Modi asserted that the summit underscores India’s dedication to leveraging technology, with a specific focus on AI, to enhance the well-being of its citizens. This commitment also aims to ensure that nations in the Global South are not left behind in reaping the advantages of AI.
