MUMBAI – Indian cricket team jerseys for the 2025 Champions Trophy will display Pakistan’s logo, confirmed BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia on Wednesday.
He dismissed rumors suggesting that the BCCI opposed the inclusion of ‘Pakistan’ on the jersey. Saikia clarified that Pakistan’s name will appear as the host nation, in compliance with ICC guidelines.

“The BCCI’s stance is clear: we will follow all ICC guidelines for the Champions Trophy 2025, including the jersey logo,” said Saikia. “There was never any intention to disregard these rules. Any media reports suggesting otherwise are unfounded.”
Despite earlier speculation about India’s objections, Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy, while India’s group-stage matches will take place in Dubai.
