India to Launch Air Cargo Services With Afghanistan Soon

India has announced that it will soon restart air cargo services with Afghanistan, reviving key trade routes and economic ties.

The cargo flights will operate on the Kabul–Delhi and Kabul–Amritsar routes. Officials said the service will begin “very soon,” strengthening bilateral trade.

Both countries are also appointing commercial attachés in each other’s embassies to facilitate smoother trade operations.

This initiative comes as part of efforts to revive the joint working group on trade, commerce, and investment between India and Afghanistan.

Authorities believe that resuming these flights will boost exports and imports, ensuring timely delivery of goods between the two nations.

The move is seen as a step to enhance economic engagement and long-term trade cooperation between India and Afghanistan.
