The agreement, signed in New Delhi, paves the way for visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and official passports from both India and Moldova, as outlined in a press release from India’s Ministry of External Affairs.Pavan Kapoor, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs, and Ana Taban, Ambassador of Moldova, signed the agreement.

Notably, China has extended visa-free privileges to more than a dozen countries and established a permanent visa-free agreement with Thailand. Similarly, Saudi Arabia has expanded its e-visa eligibility to 66 countries, adding three more recently.
