India stormed into the Asia Cup 2025 final with a 41-run win over Bangladesh in a high-voltage Super Four clash. Rising star Abhishek Sharma lit up the innings with a blistering 75 off 37 balls, while Kuldeep Yadav (3/18) and Jasprit Bumrah (2/19) tore through Bangladesh’s batting order.
Put in to bat, India raced to a 77-run opening stand as Sharma and Shubman Gill (29 off 19) attacked from the outset. Despite a mid-innings stumble at 129/5, Hardik Pandya’s 38 anchored the innings, guiding India to 168/6.
In reply, Bangladesh faltered despite Saif Hassan’s fighting 69. Kuldeep’s spin and Bumrah’s pace proved too much as they collapsed to 127 all out in 19.3 overs.
With this emphatic win, India booked their spot in Sunday’s final, awaiting the winner of Pakistan vs Bangladesh’s crucial clash.
