India Acknowledges Loss of 3 Jets, Hoists White Flag in Defeat

Indian Army Hoists White Flag After Heavy Losses in Air Combat with Pakistan

In a dramatic escalation along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian Army reportedly raised a white flag at the Chora Complex, signaling surrender after suffering significant losses to the Pakistan Army. This move followed a series of retaliatory actions by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), which successfully destroyed five Indian aircraft in response to what Pakistan has called an unprovoked and cowardly Indian attack on civilian and military targets.

Heavy Damage Inflicted on Indian Positions

Sources from Pakistan’s security agencies revealed that the country launched a powerful counteroffensive, resulting in significant damage to several Indian military posts along the LoC. Among the most severely affected was the Chora Complex, where Indian forces raised the white flag. The white flag is internationally recognized as a symbol of ceasefire or surrender, highlighting the scale of the defeat Indian forces faced in this operation.

Five Indian Fighter Jets Destroyed

While India has officially acknowledged the loss of three fighter jets, Pakistan’s military sources have confirmed that five aircraft were actually downed during the past 48 hours of air combat. According to Pakistan Air Force officials, the aircraft included three Rafale jets, one MiG-29, and one SU-30, which were intercepted as they attempted to strike Pakistani territory using stand-off munitions from Indian airspace. Additionally, a Heron surveillance drone was also neutralized during the operation.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif claimed that the country had shot down six Indian jets and destroyed the headquarters of the Indian Army’s 12th Infantry Brigade, which operates under the 9th Division of the 15th Corps. Asif described the operation as an act of self-defense, sending a clear message to India that Pakistan would continue to respond decisively to any aggression.

Destruction of Indian Brigade Headquarters

The Pakistan Army also claimed the destruction of the headquarters of India’s 12th Infantry Brigade, a critical tactical unit engaged in forward operations near the LoC. “Our forces are giving a befitting reply to the enemy’s naked aggression,” said Maj Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement to Reuters.

Several Indian military posts were also neutralized, further amplifying Pakistan’s message of retaliation for India’s provocative actions.

Indian Drone Shot Down

In another development, the Pakistan Army shot down an Indian drone that had violated Pakistani airspace in the Barnala sector. The drone, which was reportedly on a reconnaissance mission, was intercepted and destroyed by Pakistani forces, signaling that Pakistan would not tolerate further violations of its airspace.

Missile Strikes and Casualties

Late on Tuesday night, it was confirmed that the Indian military had launched missiles that struck three separate locations inside Pakistan. In retaliation, Pakistan launched missiles targeting multiple locations in India. The missile strikes resulted in casualties on both sides, with reports confirming that a religious seminary in Bahawalpur was hit, killing a child and injuring several others, including women and children.

As of now, 29 people, including six women and four children, have been admitted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for injuries sustained in the missile attacks.

Pakistan’s Strong Warning to India

In the wake of these developments, Pakistan issued a stern warning to India. The ISPR DG stated, “India’s temporary happiness will be turned into permanent sorrow,” signaling Pakistan’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and maintain its operational readiness. Pakistan has made it clear that it does not seek war but is fully prepared to defend every inch of its territory and respond to any future provocations.

The situation remains tense, with both countries continuing to exchange military actions and threats. Diplomatic efforts to ease tensions have not yet materialized, and the region remains on high alert.
