[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]QUETTA: Hassaan Khan Niazi, the nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, was granted bail by a local court in Quetta.
Hassaan Khan Niazi was brought before the local court by Quetta police on Saturday morning. Niazi was granted bail in exchange for a Rs100,000 surety bond.
The chief of the PTI’s lawyer forum, Syed Iqbal Shah, appeared in court and pleaded that his client was not guilty of any crime. The PTI chief’s nephew was granted bail by a judicial magistrate in Quetta.

Outside the court, a large number of PTI supporters, including Abdul Bari Bareech, Noor Khan Khilji, Abdul Ghaffar Kakar, Muhammad Asif Tareen, and other leaders, were present.
FIRs filed against PTI leader Shehbaz Gill and former federal minister Azam Khan Swati have already been dismissed by the Balochistan High Court.
Case Background
A district and sessions court in Islamabad granted Hassaan Khan Niazi a one-day transit remand to the Quetta police on Friday.
Niazi was taken to Balochistan by Quetta police after the transit remand was approved.
According to sources, Hassan Niazi was charged with inciting violence and interfering with government affairs at the Airport police station in Quetta.
Police from Quetta went to Islamabad’s district and session courts to arrest Hassan Niazi. Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah issued an arrest warrant for Hassan Niazi.
Hassan Niazi was later brought before the court. Hassan Niazi was handed over to Quetta police after Quetta police requested a one-day physical remand of him, which the judicial magistrate granted.
The court ordered the Quetta police investigation officer to bring Hassan Niazi before the appropriate court on March 25.
On March 18, Hassan Niazi was charged with inciting violence and interfering with police affairs at the Quetta Airport police station, following a complaint from Inspector Abdulllah of the Quetta Airport police station.
According to the case, while on patrol, the sub-inspector received information that 150 people, including Inayatullah Kakar, had blocked Chaman Road in Quetta.
Despite police attempts to disperse them, the demonstrators blocked the road for an hour. It should be noted that the Quetta police did not name Hassan Niazi in the FIR.
After a judicial magistrate in Islamabad approved a one-day transit remand, Quetta police took Hassan Khan Niazi into custody and transported him to Balochistan.
Niazi was apprehended by police outside Islamabad’s Judicial Complex on Monday for his role in attacking law enforcement officers and causing chaos in the federal capital.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
