PTI founder Imran Khan has reaffirmed his resolve to never accept oppression or subjugation, even if it means facing torture or lifelong imprisonment. He urged his party to gear up for a large-scale national movement.

His sister Aleema Khan relayed this message after meeting him at Adiala Jail. Addressing the media, she shared Imran’s concerns over the violation of his basic rights as a prisoner — including no contact with his children, restricted family visits for eight months, and denial of access to personal doctors and books, despite court orders.

Aleema quoted Khan saying, “No matter the tyranny, I will never bow down.” He also claimed that his wife, Bushra Bibi, is being detained as part of psychological pressure against him.

Refuting rumors of any backdoor deal for Khan’s release, Aleema said these narratives were distractions aimed at pacifying the public. She added that Khan is closely watching which party members remain committed to PTI’s ideology.

“This party isn’t built on electables but on principles,” he reportedly said, warning that double-dealers have no place in PTI.

Aleema also criticized judicial delays, especially in the Al-Qadir Trust case, and said Khan has lost trust in promises made by the judiciary. He called on PTI to mobilize nationwide, beyond Islamabad, for a major political movement.

She concluded that PTI leaders, including MPAs and MNAs, will attend court hearings in Islamabad and Lahore to express solidarity with the judiciary
