Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, currently imprisoned, declared his refusal to yield to what he called the “slavery of Yazid of time” during an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail. He expressed his determination to resist the forces he believes are oppressing the nation.
Khan criticized the current leadership, blaming them for Pakistan’s challenges, particularly in cricket and governance. He accused decision-makers of stashing wealth abroad while the country edges toward revolution, and said Pakistan missed a pivotal chance for change on February 8th.
Addressing the crisis in Balochistan, Khan emphasized the need for local body elections to empower leaders and alleviate poverty. He also touched upon terrorism, advocating for a balanced strategy that combines intelligence, dialogue, and operations to combat threats like the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
Responding to concerns about media bias raised by his sister, Aleema Khan, Imran Khan assured journalists he would look into the matter.
