Petitions filed by Omar Ayub for case records and by Ajmal Sabir and Malik Ansar for acquittal will be addressed in the next hearing. The court also accepted the prosecution’s request to hold daily hearings starting January 13 and adjourned the case until then.

Separately, the ATC in Islamabad declared KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Umar Tanveer Butt as proclaimed offenders in a case tied to protests against Imran Khan’s disqualification. Former federal minister Amir Mahmood Kayani is also being processed as a proclaimed offender.

PTI leaders Faisal Javed and Wasiq Qayyum appeared in court, while cases for absentees were separated, and arrest warrants issued. Senator Faisal Javed petitioned for terrorism charges to be removed from a case linked to 2022 protests against Imran Khan’s disqualification. The next hearing is set for January 15.
