During a hearing at the Islamabad High Court regarding a petition for details on cases filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, it was revealed that a total of 62 cases have been registered against him in Islamabad. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) reported that it has filed seven FIRs against Khan.
The Islamabad Police requested more time to submit a detailed report on the cases, explaining they had only received the court’s notice the evening before. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir expressed frustration, criticizing the delay and emphasizing that the notice had been issued two days earlier. The police proposed submitting an interim report immediately, but Justice Arbab rejected this, insisting on a comprehensive report.

The FIA clarified that no inquiry was pending in the Deputy Commissioner’s office, while the Islamabad Police confirmed the 62 registered cases. DSP Sajid Cheema asked for an extension until Monday to submit a detailed report, but Justice Arbab questioned the unusually large number of cases and instructed further investigation.
The hearing was adjourned with the next session scheduled for November 18, where a detailed report on all the cases will be presented.
