Rawalpindi police have arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in a case registered at New Town Police Station. This arrest comes shortly after the Islamabad High Court granted him bail in the Toshakhana case, ordering his release upon submitting bail bonds worth 1 million rupees each and appearing before the trial court.
The case filed against Imran Khan includes allegations of arson and property damage. According to the police spokesperson, these charges also involve sections under anti-terrorism laws. The investigation is being led by the SSP Investigation team.

The case, registered on September 28, accuses the PTI founder of significant offenses linked to his party’s activities. Police confirmed that further inquiries are underway to gather more evidence and details related to the allegations.
Imran Khan will be presented in court tomorrow for a physical remand hearing. Authorities aim to seek his custody to proceed with the investigation and address the charges leveled against him.
