BISE Lahore Announces Resumption of Intermediate and Matric Exams on May 8
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially confirmed that the Intermediate Part-II theory papers and Matric practical examinations will resume from May 8, as per the previously issued date sheet.
Postponed Examinations Due to Security Concerns
In a circular issued on Tuesday, BISE Lahore clarified that the May 7 exams were postponed due to security concerns arising from the heightened tensions between Pakistan and India. However, the board reassured all stakeholders that the remaining exams will proceed according to the original schedule.
Exam Schedule for May 8
According to the revised schedule, the Intermediate theory papers for May 8 will include Chemistry, Geology, and Health & Physical Education in the morning session, and Chemistry, Statistics, and Library Science in the evening session.
At the same time, practical exams for Biology, Computer Science, and Food and Nutrition at the matric level will also take place as per the original timetable.

Exam Centers and Timings
Students are instructed to report to their designated examination centres and laboratories as mentioned on their roll number slips. BISE Lahore has assured that no changes have been made to the exam centers or exam timings for the exams scheduled to resume on May 8.
Revised Schedule for Postponed Exams
The board further announced that a revised schedule for the May 7 exams that were postponed will be issued at a later date.

Despite concerns raised by students and parents regarding possible disruptions due to regional tensions, BISE Lahore reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the exams are conducted safely and timely.
