Imad Wasim passes abusive comments on youngster Ihsanallah in match against Multan.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Sunday, the Karachi Kings defeated the Multan Sultans by a score of 66 runs, but not without some foul language being exchanged on the field. Ihsanullah entered the crease to bat after Anwar Ali was dismissed in the 16th over, and Imad can be heard in the background telling Akif Javed to just bowl bouncers to Ihsanullah instead of full length deliveries.

Imad called Ihsanullah a derogatory name while delivering these instructions. Imad instructed the bowlers, “Just bowl bouncers to this ******. Imad promptly placed a leg slip for Ihsanullah, who eventually survived Akif’s three balls and remained not out on nought as his team was bowled out for 101 runs in the next over.

The lanky Sultans pacer, who is the tournament’s leading wicket taker, has been a thorn in the side of the Karachi Kings, bowling economical spells against them in the last two games. During his Karachi Kings’ one-run loss against Islamabad United in the 21st game of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Imad was fined 5% of his match fee for a Level 1 violation of the PSL Code of Conduct.

Imad was found to have breached PSL Article 2.5, which prohibits using “language, actions, or gestures which denigrate or which could elicit a violent reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a PSL Match.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
