ISLAMABAD – Advocate Imaan Mazari has lodged a harassment complaint against Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar following a verbal clash between them.
According to reports, the complaint was submitted to Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz, who heads the IHC’s Women Harassment Inquiry Committee. Sources said it was filed through her court associate.
In the complaint, Imaan Mazari urged an inquiry under the Protection Against Harassment of Women Act to determine whether Justice Dogar made gender-based or threatening remarks toward her and to hold him accountable.
She also requested that the case be referred to the Supreme Judicial Council as the competent authority to handle harassment allegations against the Chief Justice.
