Dubai Police Shuts Down Unauthorized Hair Transplant Clinic

Dubai Police have arrested a man for running an illegal Hair Transplant Clinic from his apartment without a valid medical license. The operation was conducted by the Anti-Economic Crimes Department in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

According to authorities, the suspect had been promoting unlicensed Hair Transplant Clinic services through social media videos, attracting clients with low-cost procedures. Acting on credible information, Dubai Police raided his three-bedroom apartment and discovered that while two rooms were used for living, one had been converted into an illegal operating room.

During the operation, officials seized medical tools and equipment used for transplant procedures. The apartment was sealed, and legal action has been initiated against the accused. Authorities stressed that such illegal setups violate UAE health laws and pose serious risks to public health and safety.

Dubai Police said that performing medical or cosmetic treatments outside licensed facilities is a criminal offense. The DHA also confirmed that the man was not authorized to conduct any medical activity in Dubai. Officials warned residents to avoid unlicensed clinics and always check the credentials of doctors and health centers before undergoing any procedure.

The DHA and Dubai Police urged the public to report any suspicious medical activity or unregistered Hair Transplant Clinic operations through official channels. They emphasized that all reports will be handled confidentially and investigated immediately to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

Authorities reiterated that Dubai has strict regulations governing all healthcare practices. The cooperation between the DHA and law enforcement highlights the city’s strong stance against illegal medical activities that endanger lives.

This case serves as a warning to those attempting to run unauthorized medical businesses. Dubai Police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining safety, transparency, and trust in the healthcare sector.
