[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Usman Anwar, the head of the Punjab Police, debunked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-“social Insaf’s media misinformation” that Ali Bilal, nicknamed Zille Shah, was killed while in police custody on Saturday by providing details about the death of the party member.

He was speaking at a press conference in Lahore alongside temporary Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi to explain what happened on Wednesday after a standoff between PTI supporters and police.

Graphic pictures of Ali’s body started making their way across social media not long after the PTI’s gathering to kick off its election campaign was cancelled due to fights between the party’s members and the police.

Section 144 had been implemented in the city that day by the provincial government.

After his passing, “Zille Shah,” “Ali Bilal,” and “Black Vigo” were trending on Twitter and other social media sites, and horrifying information about Bilal’s death started to emerge.

CCTV footage of a private 4X4 car with two guys in plain clothes was also released, showing them dumping the dead worker off at a hospital in Lahore.
