On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Omar subtly defended Qamar, noting the irony that those who had previously criticized him might now be defending him against the video leaks. She stated, “If two consenting adults are together, their privacy is none of my concern. Their body, their choice.”

The suspect also leaked these videos, adding fuel to the scandal.
