The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the schedule for the opening events of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with a series of spectacular ceremonies set to mark the commencement of the prestigious tournament. The Champions Trophy, beginning on February 19, will start with the opening ceremony, followed by several key events leading up to the tournament’s grand launch.

The first opening ceremony will take place on February 7 at Gaddafi Stadium, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to attend as the chief guest. The festivities will continue with another ceremony at the National Stadium in Karachi on February 11, with President Asif Ali Zardari as the guest of honor. On February 16, the official ceremony will be held at Hazoori Bagh in Lahore, where key figures, cricketers, and ICC officials are expected to gather to celebrate the tournament’s commencement.

With the hybrid format of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, some matches, including the knockout rounds, will take place in Dubai. Pakistan will host the tournament for the first time in 29 years, with matches scheduled across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai. The eight participating teams are divided into two groups, with notable clashes, including the much-awaited Pakistan vs. India match on February 23 in Dubai.

To ensure fans can be part of the historic event, tickets for matches in Pakistan can be purchased through the official ticketing portal or at TCS Express Centers. Prices for tickets start at Rs1,000 for general stands, with premium seating available from Rs1,500. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets quickly as excitement builds for what promises to be a thrilling Champions Trophy.
