The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially unveiled the prize pool for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, increasing the total amount by an impressive 53% compared to the previous edition. The total prize pool will now stand at $690,000, marking a significant boost for the participating teams.
The tournament’s winner will receive a hefty sum of $2.24 million (over Rs620 million), while the runner-up will be awarded $1.12 million (more than Rs31 crore). The teams that fall short in the semi-finals will each receive $560,000 (over Rs15.5 crore). Additionally, teams will earn $34,000 for each group-stage victory, providing an extra incentive to perform well in every match.

Teams finishing in 5th and 6th place will walk away with $350,000 each, while the 7th-placed team will be awarded $140,000. Every team, regardless of their performance, will receive $125,000 for their participation.
The Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, with teams from around the world competing for the coveted title. The tournament schedule has been set, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the opening match, while cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India on February 23 in Dubai.
