Trump Vows to Prevent World War III and Halt Border “Invasion” Ahead of Second Term
US President-elect Donald Trump, addressing a rally at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, promised to prevent World War III and curb the “invasion” of the nation’s borders as he prepares to begin his second term in office.
Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at the Make America Great Again (MAGA) victory rally, Trump assured his supporters that he would deliver on his campaign promises, including tough immigration policies and rapid policy reversals.
“We’ll give the American people the most impactful first day, the biggest first week, and the most remarkable first 100 days of any presidency in history,” Trump declared. He pledged to rescind executive orders issued by outgoing President Joe Biden “within hours” of taking office on Monday and revealed plans for the “largest deportation operation in American history.”

Trump also announced his intent to designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, declare an emergency at the US-Mexico border, and restore the “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum seekers. “By the time the sun sets tomorrow, all illegal border crossers will, in some form, be on their way back home,” he claimed. However, experts believe that carrying out deportations of this scale would require years and substantial resources.
Ceasefire in Gaza Attributed to Trump
Trump took credit for brokering the Gaza ceasefire agreement that ended a 15-month conflict between Israel and Hamas. Criticizing the Biden administration, he claimed such a conflict wouldn’t have occurred under his leadership.
“We achieved a historic ceasefire as the first step toward lasting peace in the Middle East. Without even being president, we accomplished more than they did in four years,” Trump said. The ceasefire led to the release of three Israeli hostages by Hamas and 90 Palestinian prisoners by Israel.
TikTok Returns to the US
In a surprising announcement, Trump revealed that TikTok, the Chinese-owned video-sharing platform, will resume operations in the US as part of a “joint venture” with 50% ownership by American entities.
“TikTok is back. We’ve saved jobs and ensured we’re not handing over our business to China,” he said. This comes after the US Supreme Court upheld a law requiring TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to sell its operations to an American-approved buyer.
Promises of Peace and Prosperity
Trump reiterated his commitment to ending international conflicts, including the war in Ukraine, and assured Americans he would prevent World War III. “I will end the chaos in the Middle East, stop the war in Ukraine, and ensure World War III never happens,” he stated, adding that many are unaware of how close the world is to such a catastrophe.
As Trump prepares to take the oath as the 47th President of the United States, his ambitious goals have sparked both hope and skepticism. While critics question the feasibility of his sweeping policies, Trump remains confident in delivering on his promises.
