As Pakistani students increasingly seek international education opportunities, a major option has emerged for those interested in studying in Europe. One of Hungary’s oldest and most respected institutions, the University of Pécs, has announced fully funded scholarships for the 2026 academic year under the Stipendium Hungaricum program.
The Hungary scholarship is open to Pakistani and other international students, offering a chance to enroll in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs taught entirely in English. Under this prestigious scheme, students can study at a leading European university without paying any tuition fees.
Pakistani applicants with strong academic backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply. The Hungary scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition, monthly living allowances, accommodation, and health insurance. Undergraduate and master’s students receive a monthly stipend of HUF 43,700, while PhD candidates are entitled to HUF 140,000 per month. The available programs span diverse disciplines, including Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Arts, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Applications are submitted entirely online, but candidates must first secure a nomination from the relevant authority in their home country. Required documents include an updated CV, academic records, proof of language proficiency, recommendation letters, a medical certificate, and a statement of purpose outlining academic goals.
