How to Register for Punjab Rehmat Card Scheme

The Punjab government, under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, has approved the introduction of the Rehmat Card program aimed at providing financial assistance to widows and orphaned children across the province.

The approval was granted during a meeting chaired by the chief minister on Thursday, where officials presented details of the welfare initiative. According to the briefing, the Rehmat Card scheme will offer financial support of up to Rs. 100,000 to eligible widows and orphaned children to help them manage essential expenses and improve their living conditions.

Authorities said the program will be launched after Eid, with the first phase expected to benefit more than 40,000 families. As part of the initial rollout, eligible widows and orphaned children will receive Rs. 25,000 each through the Rehmat Card initiative.

The provincial government plans to ensure that the application process is simple and accessible so that deserving individuals can easily register for the program. Applicants will be able to apply for the Rehmat Card through several convenient methods.

One option is through a dedicated mobile application developed specifically for the scheme. Citizens can download the app, enter the required information, and submit their application directly from their smartphones.

In addition, applicants can also complete the registration process through an online web portal by providing the necessary personal and family details. This digital platform is designed to make the application process faster and more efficient.

For individuals who require assistance, a call center will also be available to provide guidance and help applicants understand the registration procedure.

Furthermore, citizens can visit their nearest Zakat offices to submit applications or receive support during the registration process. Officials say these multiple application channels are intended to make the Rehmat Card program accessible to people across Punjab.

The initiative reflects the provincial government’s efforts to strengthen social welfare programs and provide financial relief to vulnerable families, particularly widows and children who have lost their parents.
