Deputy Director Irfan Virk shared the update in an interview with Samaa TV. He said the first 10 days of Ramazan will likely remain dry. No major weather system is expected to bring rainfall during this period.

According to the forecast, temperatures in Lahore and Islamabad will stay below 30°C at the beginning of Ramazan. Weather conditions in these cities are expected to remain relatively moderate.

However, southern areas may experience higher temperatures. Parts of Sindh and southern Punjab are likely to see temperatures rise to around 35°C. Fasting conditions in these regions may feel warmer than in northern cities.

Officials have confirmed that there is no strong possibility of widespread rainfall during the first 10 days of Ramazan. The weather is expected to remain stable and dry in most regions.

Light Rain Likely in Karachi

Deputy Director Anjum Nazir said a new series of westerly winds may enter the country soon. Under this system, light rain is possible in Karachi.

However, the expected rainfall will be light and brief. It will not cause a major change in overall weather conditions.

Nazir added that Karachi’s weather will remain moderate during the first 20 days of Ramazan. Temperatures in the city are expected to range between 32°C and 34°C.

Hotter Weather Expected in Final Days

The Met Department has warned that the last 10 days of Ramazan could be hotter than usual. Temperatures may rise further toward the end of the holy month.
