HKC has expanded its Nebula series by introducing the G27M5Pro gaming monitor, targeting competitive players seeking premium performance at an aggressive price point. Priced at under $250, the monitor brings flagship-level specifications usually seen in far more expensive displays, making it a strong contender in the mid-range gaming market.
The G27M5Pro features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a sharp 2560 × 1440 resolution and a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. One of its biggest highlights is an overclocked refresh rate of up to 340Hz, paired with a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, ensuring ultra-smooth visuals and minimal input lag during fast-paced gaming.
To enhance contrast and brightness, HKC has equipped the monitor with a QD-Mini LED backlight system that includes 1,152 local dimming zones. The display reaches 550 nits of brightness in standard mode, while HDR content can peak at an impressive 1,400 nits. It also carries a VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification for high-end HDR performance.
In terms of color accuracy, the G27M5Pro covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100 percent of the sRGB color space. According to HKC, the panel is factory-calibrated and maintains an average Delta E of 2 or less. It supports 10-bit color through 8-bit plus FRC processing, displaying up to 1.07 billion colors.
For smoother motion, the monitor includes HKC’s DIC 2.0 motion blur reduction technology with three adjustable clarity levels. The system works alongside HDR and local dimming to preserve contrast during fast motion. LCD light tracking technology is also included to reduce halo effects and improve responsiveness.
The G27M5Pro sports a clean three-sided narrow-bezel design and comes with a compact, ergonomic stand. Users get height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, VRR support, and a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount.
