After years of anticipation, the legendary trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal are back for Hera Pheri 3, which has officially gone on floors. The iconic characters Raju, Shyam, and Baburao will once again bring their signature comedy to the big screen, much to the excitement of fans worldwide.
The first scene of the highly-awaited film was shot on April 3, 2025, marking the beginning of the much-anticipated project. According to a source close to the production, the scene featured the trio reprising their beloved roles. The news was confirmed by Akshay Kumar at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024, sparking even greater enthusiasm among fans.

Directed once again by Priyadarshan, who helmed the original Hera Pheri (2000), the film is expected to offer a blend of nostalgia and fresh humor. While plot details remain under wraps, Priyadarshan acknowledged the challenges of meeting high expectations from fans, saying, “It is going to be very challenging to make the third part because there will be too many expectations.”
The Hera Pheri series has long been a staple of Bollywood comedy, with the first film achieving cult classic status and the sequel, Phir Hera Pheri (2006), also winning immense love from audiences. Fans can expect more hilarious chaos as the iconic trio returns to their uproarious antics.
