Hamid Raza, Chairman of the Pakistan Sunni Ittehad Council (PSIC), has resigned from the Core Committee and Political Committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
As per media reports, Raza has formally informed the PTI leadership about his decision. His resignation follows that of Salman Akram Raja, PTI’s Secretary General, who stepped down earlier due to criticism over his limited involvement in recent protests in Islamabad.

Salman Akram Raja, appointed by PTI founder Imran Khan in September, had faced backlash for his inactive role during the party’s demonstrations. His resignation was confirmed by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar.
