In a major development, Hamas has confirmed that it has accepted an agreement to end the ongoing war with Israel. The deal marks a potential breakthrough in one of the region’s most prolonged and destructive conflicts.

According to details, the agreement includes a complete ceasefire, Israeli troop withdrawal from Gaza, and a prisoner–hostage exchange. Hamas stated that the deal aims to bring an end to months of bloodshed and humanitarian suffering in the region.

The group called on guarantor nations to ensure Israel fully adheres to the terms of the deal. It also emphasized that the agreement’s success depends on mutual trust and compliance from both sides.

The ceasefire’s first phase is expected to begin soon, starting with the release of hostages and a gradual military pullback. Many believe this could pave the way for wider peace talks and reconstruction in Gaza if implemented effectively.

However, analysts remain cautious. Past ceasefire efforts have failed due to delayed action and lack of monitoring. International mediators are now under pressure to oversee and enforce the terms transparently.

Despite confirming the deal, Hamas reiterated its broader political stance, stating that the agreement does not change its long-term goals. Still, for many civilians, this ceasefire represents a long-awaited moment of relief after months of conflict and hardship.
