The Imam urged Muslims to continue their prayers and give zakat to those in need, emphasizing the importance of supporting neighbors and the less fortunate.
He reminded believers that Allah commands cooperation in goodness and righteousness, and called on them to treat their parents with kindness and to always speak the truth.
Worshippers were encouraged to show compassion toward orphans, widows, and the needy, while avoiding arrogance and pride. He stressed the importance of honoring promises and warned that the devil aims to create division among Muslims.
“Shaytan is your enemy—do not follow him, and remain devoted in your prayers,” Sheikh Saleh said.
Millions of pilgrims gathered at Mount Arafat to hear the sermon, which is a cornerstone of Hajj, Islam’s sacred pilgrimage. The Arafat sermon, delivered annually on the Day of Arafah, is among the most spiritually significant events for Muslims worldwide, whether attending in person or watching from afar.
