Saudi Arabia will temporarily stop issuing Umrah permits through the Nusuk platform for citizens, residents, and GCC nationals starting Tuesday, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced, as part of preparations for the Hajj 2025 season.
The suspension will run from April 29, 2025 (1 Dhul-Qa’dah 1446 AH) to June 10, 2025 (14 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH), aiming to streamline Hajj operations and ensure pilgrim safety during the busy period. Authorities added that since April 23, access to Mecca requires an official permit via Absher or Muqeem, limited to Hajj workers, residents, and those with valid Hajj permits.
