The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced a new 15-day operational schedule for Gwadar Airport, outlining flight activities that will remain in effect from June 5 to June 20.
According to a spokesperson for the authority, flight operations at Gwadar Airport will be conducted twice a week during the specified period. The schedule has been introduced to facilitate planned air traffic movements and ensure smooth airport operations.
Under the revised timetable, flights will operate on Mondays and Thursdays. On both days, aircraft will be permitted to land and depart between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Authorities stated that the designated operating window has been established to streamline air traffic management and maintain operational efficiency.
The Pakistan Airports Authority further confirmed that a fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued regarding flight operations at Gwadar Airport. The NOTAM provides updated information and instructions for airlines, pilots, and aviation stakeholders using the facility during the scheduled period.
Officials noted that the new schedule is part of ongoing efforts to manage operations at Gwadar Airport in a coordinated manner while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards. Airlines operating from the airport have been advised to follow the updated operational timings and relevant instructions contained in the latest NOTAM.
As one of Pakistan’s key aviation infrastructure projects, Gwadar Airport plays an important role in enhancing regional connectivity and supporting economic development in Balochistan. The airport is expected to facilitate passenger travel and future commercial activities while strengthening transportation links within the region.
