During the holy month of Ramadan, the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah welcomed a total of 122,286,712 visitors, according to Eng. Ghazi Al-Shahrani, CEO of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

Al-Shahrani reported that:
- 16,558,241 individuals performed Umrah.
- 92,132,169 worshippers visited the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
- 30,154,543 worshippers gathered at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Extending his Eid Al-Fitr greetings, Al-Shahrani expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and Crown Prince & Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. He also appreciated the efforts of those who contributed to serving the guests of Allah, praying for their efforts to be rewarded.
