The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a strict warning to private operators involved in Hajj arrangements. The ministry said any negligence that causes a pilgrim to miss Hajj will lead to serious consequences.
Officials confirmed that the license of any private Hajj operator will be cancelled immediately if a pilgrim fails to depart due to the operator’s fault. Such companies will also be permanently barred from future Hajj operations.
The ministry made it clear that no leniency will be shown in cases of carelessness. Authorities said protecting pilgrims is the top priority.
Officials also warned against financial irregularities. Any operator involved in delays or misuse of pilgrims’ funds will face strict action. Licenses will be cancelled if money transfers are not completed on time.
The ministry has directed all private Hajj operators to deposit 100 percent of the Hajj package amount into designated Saudi accounts. December 31 has been set as the final deadline for these payments.
Operators have also been instructed to secure all required services. These include accommodation, transport, and other facilities needed during the pilgrimage.
Sources said private operators must complete arrangements for land and residential buildings by December 15. If they fail to do so, their remaining Hajj quota will be shifted to the government scheme.
The ministry has also set December 21 as the deadline for completing Mina arrangements. This includes land allocation, tents, and essential services for pilgrims.
Officials warned that missing any of these deadlines will trigger immediate administrative action. This could include loss of remaining quota and disqualification from future operations.
The Religious Affairs Ministry said these measures are meant to prevent mismanagement. Authorities want to ensure pilgrims do not suffer financial loss or travel disruption.
Officials stressed that timely payments and proper planning are mandatory. They added that smooth travel and accommodation arrangements are essential for a successful Hajj experience.
The ministry urged private operators to follow all instructions carefully. It said strict monitoring will continue until all arrangements are completed.
