Following a thorough evaluation, the cabinet endorsed the appointment of Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar as the new NADRA Chairman. Subsequently, the Ministry of Interior issued an official notification regarding his appointment.

It is noteworthy to mention that Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General in October of the preceding year.

Tariq Malik, the former NADRA Chairman, had resigned from his position in June, citing a “charged and polarized political environment.”
