Governor Sindh Rewards Olympic Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem with Rs 20 Million

Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem received a warm reception from Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House on Wednesday, celebrating his historic achievement. During the event, the Governor announced a cash reward of Rs 20 million for the national hero.

Governor Tessori praised Arshad’s dedication and highlighted the importance of his victory for Pakistan, stating that the entire nation stands behind him. “Arshad Nadeem has brought great joy to the nation after a long time,” he remarked.

The gathering attracted a large crowd from across Sindh, including businessmen who offered additional rewards and incentives for Nadeem. Governor Kamran announced that the Sindh government would contribute Rs 50 million, with a total of Rs 100 million being collected from the Governor House.

In his speech, Arshad expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the people of Karachi and appreciated the media’s live coverage, which allowed the entire nation to share in the celebrations.
