Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, announced the approval of all Hajj 2025 applications submitted by December 3, including those under the Sponsorship Scheme, which bypass the lottery process. To address logistical challenges, the application deadline has been extended to December 10, enabling prospective pilgrims to apply via designated banks.
Hussain assured fairness in handling applications, stating that a lottery will only be conducted if submissions exceed the allocated quota. He also urged overseas Pakistanis applying under the Sponsorship Scheme to deposit required funds by December 10 to secure their places.
