Government declares May 28 Youm-e-Takbeer public holiday

The federal government has announced a nationwide public holiday on May 28 to observe Youm-e-Takbeer.

An official notification confirmed that all government offices will remain closed on Wednesday.

The Cabinet Division had already included May 28 in its 2025 public holiday schedule, released in December last year.

Similarly, the Sindh government has also issued a separate notification declaring May 28 as a public holiday in observance of Youm-e-Takbeer.
