The federal government has ended the policy of granting government jobs to family members of employees who die during service under the Prime Minister’s Assistance Package.

As per an official memorandum from the Establishment Division, all ministries and divisions must enforce this decision. The change follows the Supreme Court’s October 18, 2024, ruling and is effective from the verdict’s date.
