Google Search Live Expands to 200+ Countries Worldwide

Google has announced the global expansion of its AI-powered feature, Search Live, making it available in more than 200 countries and regions. The rollout covers all languages where AI Mode is currently supported, marking a major step in enhancing real-time search experiences.

Originally introduced in July 2025, Search Live allows users to interact with search results in a more dynamic way. With this feature, users can point their smartphone camera at objects and receive instant answers. The system also supports voice-based conversations, making it easier to ask follow-up questions.

Google said the feature was previously limited to the United States and India. With this expansion, millions of new users worldwide can now access the tool. The company aims to make search more interactive and helpful in everyday situations.

The upgrade is powered by Google’s latest model, Gemini 3.1 Flash Live. This technology improves how users communicate with the system. It enables smoother conversations and more accurate responses based on both voice and visual input.

To use Search Live, users need to open the Google app on their Android or iOS devices. They can tap the “Live” icon under the search bar and start asking questions. The feature provides spoken answers and allows users to explore related web links for more details.

Google explained that Search Live is designed for moments when typing is not practical. For example, users can ask how to fix or install something while showing it through their camera. The system then analyzes the visual input and provides helpful suggestions.

In addition to Search Live, Google has expanded its Live Translate feature on iOS devices. This tool allows users to hear real-time translations through headphones. It now supports more than 70 languages and is available in several new countries.
