Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid Global Market Rally
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant spike on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, as per the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs. 3,700, reaching Rs. 344,200. Similarly, 10 grams of 24K gold surged by Rs. 3,173, now priced at Rs. 295,096. The price of 10 grams of 22K gold also rose by Rs. 2,821, settling at Rs. 270,514.

This domestic rally follows a notable upswing in the international bullion market, where gold climbed $37 to hit $3,258 per ounce.
Silver rates in Pakistan also followed the upward trajectory. The price of 24K silver per tola increased by Rs. 82 to Rs. 3,482, while 10 grams rose by Rs. 71, reaching Rs. 2,985. Globally, silver was trading at $33.00 per ounce, up by $0.82.
These rates are aligned with the prevailing interbank exchange rates and were verified by Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The surge reflects growing investor interest in precious metals amid ongoing economic uncertainty and global financial volatility.
